Today we were given a free day to explore. Unheard of on one of these trips. I got up a bit later and headed straight for Denny’s for a country fried steak for breakfast, which was awesome as usual. I then headed to the international marketplace to do a bit more shopping.
After I had bought my quota of presents for people, I went back to the Sheraton and laid by the infinity pool for the rest of the day. The pool is so close to the ocean it looks like it actually turns into the ocean. I laid there and listened to my ipod for ages and got myself a nice tan.
At 5:45pm we had our site inspection at the Royal Hawaiian, which was next door, before our farewell cocktail party. We had our farewell party, after which me and two of the other girls got a bit drunk. We roamed around Waikiki for a while before deciding that drinks in the room would work better as one of the girls was under 21.
We stayed up until about 1am before I went back to my room to pack for the journey home.
