Asia

A giant melting pot of so many cultures, food and amazing history.

Japan

If you want to visit a country which will make YOU feel uncivilised, take a trip tp Japan. It’s clean, its efficient and people are oh so polite and helpful. The temples are beautiful, the food is amazing and the transport is smooth as silk. One thing though…. it seems it’s honorable to be uncomfortable. Sitting at train stations doesn’t seem like a thing and neither does escalators.

Malaysia

I’ve really only been to Kuala Lumpur, but what I saw I liked, seemed like a city in the jungle.

Russia

Russia is a truely diverse place with part of it in Europe and part in Asia. The Asian side is a real wonder. Nomads, Shamen, mosques, wildlife, you name it. This part of Russia often gets a bad rap, especially Siberia (even worse than the rest of the country) for being dreary and the home of the gulags. In reality it’s a colourful, cultural melting pot.

Thailand

The first place in Asia I ever visited. A good place for a beginner to start, it’s truly traveling on easy mode.

Uzbekistan

A place that is truly the stuff of legend. Visited by just about every famous traveller from history from Alexander the Great, to Marco Polo, Ghengis Khan and Herakles. It’s not on the radar of most travellers just yet and that only adds to it’s oriental mystique.
